Juan Chillida Ameztoy nace en San Sebastian en 1956, hijo del magnífico pintor Gonzalo Chillida.
Desde su mas tierna infancia está en contacto con el mundo del arte y la interpretación de los signos de la Naturaleza, que es una constante en la obra de su padre.
Juan Chillida inicia su trayectoria artística en la década de los 70, desarrollando su actividad en el campo de la pintura y de la escultura. Artista de formación autodidacta, en los 80 cursa estudios de artes y oficios en Madrid.
A partir de ese momento, realiza asiduamente exposiciones individuales y colectivas en San Sebastian, Vitoria, Madrid, Bilbao y Barcelona; a su vez participa también en ferias internacionales como en la artística de Zurich (Suiza).

Juan Chillida began his artistic career in the 70s, developing his activity in the field of painting and sculpture. Self-taught artist, in the 80s he studied arts and crafts in Madrid.

Juan Chillida a commencé sa carrière artistique dans les années 70, développant son activité dans le domaine de la peinture et de la sculpture. Artiste autodidacte, dans les années 80, il étudie les arts et l’artisanat à Madrid.
